Rates and accuracy

Reference exchange rate. Your bank, card issuer, ATM, exchange service or money-transfer provider may offer a different transaction rate or charge additional fees.

We take accuracy seriously and describe our methodology openly on the accuracy page, but the service is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability or freedom from error. Verify any figure that matters before acting on it.

Your responsibility

• Rates, tax rates, tipping norms and fee schedules vary — confirm the inputs you use.
• Check the timestamp shown before relying on a rate.
