How we are funded

CurrencyIQ earns revenue from display advertising. We do not charge for any tool and we do not sell personal data.

Our rules for ad placement

• Every ad area is labelled as advertising.
• Ads never appear inside the result area of a converter or calculator.
• Ads never imitate buttons, results, navigation or system messages.
• Ad space is reserved in the layout so content does not jump as ads load.
• No interstitials or pop-ups that block a calculation in progress.

Editorial independence

Advertisers have no influence over our exchange rates, calculator logic, or the guidance in our guides. Rates come from the providers listed on the data sources page and are never adjusted for commercial reasons.

Affiliate links

We do not currently use affiliate links. If that changes, any commission-earning link will be clearly marked at the point of the link, and a commission will never change a ranking or recommendation.

Privacy and consent

Advertising cookies and identifiers are handled as described in our privacy policy, and where consent is legally required they are not used before you give it.
